selected projects

“The Baker’s of Easton” - ‘Bread’ First Year Seminar

Coordinated and produced a 45-minute podcast with a team of two students, interviewing 10 local bakers from the Easton community. Explored the origins of their recipes, learned about their passion for cooking, and discovered how culinary traditions are passed down through generations. This experience taught me how thoughtful conversation can draw out authentic responses, deepening my understanding of my community and my passion for cooking.

“Investigating PFAS Contamination and Its Impact on Water Quality in the Lehigh Valley” Environmental Engineering

Conducted an in-depth investigation into regional “forever chemical” (PFAS) contamination, analyzing multiple pollution sites throughout the Lehigh Valley. Collaborated with peers to interview local environmental experts, assess public health impacts of long-term exposure, and evaluate the effectiveness of current remediation policies and regulatory responses. This project strengthened my ability to connect engineering analysis with real-world environmental and community challenges.

“Design, Fabrication, and Performance Testing of a Prototype Wind Turbine System” Manufacturing and Design

Worked alongside a team of three to design, build, and optimize a functional wind turbine prototype that met defined stakeholder performance requirements. Led key phases of the design and fabrication process, applied mechanical and fluid dynamics principles, and conducted performance testing to evaluate efficiency and reliability. Presented findings through a technical poster session to faculty and peers, emphasizing both engineering rigor and real-world applicability.

“Experimental Analysis of Mixture Viscosity in Ideal and Non-Ideal Solutions Using Viscometry” Experimental Design I

Partnered with another student to design and execute a controlled laboratory experiment investigating the viscosity behavior of ideal and non-ideal liquid mixtures. Utilized advanced chemical engineering instrumentation and data analysis techniques to validate theoretical models through experimental results. Communicated outcomes in a formal poster presentation to faculty and students, highlighting experimental design, measurement outcomes, and scientific interpretation.
